Fans replied with worry, as Charlie said: "Glad she’s feeling better now. We’ve missed her xxxx." Another user said: "Good to hear Linda's doing better. The show's always ace but it's never quite the same without the phone call to your mum!"
Rach said: "Ah love to mummy Linda. Love hearing you both on a Saturday afternoon. Merry Christmas to you both xx". Catherine said: "Sending lots of love and hugs xxx".
Linda, 69, suffers from Crohn's disease and has recently had surgeries to remove parts of her bowel, leaving her with only 70cm of her bowel left. She also has a stoma bag, which collects faecal matter from the digestive tract.
She was diagnosed with the disease at the age of 30. Describing how it's impacted her life, Linda said her life "is in the bathroom" as she needs to empty her stoma as soon as she drinks water.
