A Ryanair plane was forced to divert after a drunken man caused disruption and reportedly 'urinated on a seat'. The flight from Manchester to Tenerife was diverted to the Portugese island of Porto Santo where a small number of passengers were removed from the aircraft.
A passenger on board the evening flight on Sunday (September 18) spoke anonymously to the Liverpool Echo and described the man's behaviour as 'wild'. The anonymous person also praised the Ryanair crew for the way they dealt with the situation.
The witness to the mayhem said the disruptive passenger looked 'rotten' drunk and had been told to sit down by cabin crew numerous times. He said the flight had been delayed at Manchester Airport, which meant there had been more pre-flight drinking time.
