Those who have not gotten a chance to head away on a foreign holiday yet this year to soak up some sun, culture or scenery can rejoice as Ryanair is cutting its prices for a short period of time.
Ireland’s most popular low-cost airline has announced one of its biggest-ever sales, with 20 per cent off a selection of flights.
The number one airline in Europe, Ryanair has today, July 7, launched its flash sale to celebrate 38 years of operations and the airline has slashed prices with some flights costing just €10.

You need to get in quick though, as the sale ends at midnight of July 8 with the valid travel period only valid between August 22 and September 30. Some of the discounted flights include multiple airports in the UK for under €20.
The airline first took to the skies back in 1985 with its first flight from Waterford Airport to London Gatwick – Ryanair’s only route at the time.
Since then, Ryanair has grown to become Europe’s no.1 airline, operating thousands of daily flights across over 230 destinations and carrying over 185 million passengers per year. In total, the budget airline operates a whopping 3,078 flights a day.

Recently, Ryanair divulged what food and drinks were allowed onto a plane operated by the carrier, revealing you can take whatever food or soft drinks you like on board as long as it meets hand-luggage dimension and weight restrictions.
Hot drinks are not allowed for safety reasons, and passengers cannot consume their own alcohol during the flight.
A spokesperson said: "In the interest of safety we cannot allow passengers to board the plane with hot drinks or consume their own alcohol during the flight."
