Ryan Tubridy has opened up on his retirement plans after leaving the Late Late Show next month.
The RTE star shocked the nation when he revealed he would be stepping down as host of the long-running chat show on May 26, days before his milestone 50th birthday.
And Ryan has revealed that when he finishes up on the show he would like to travel the world - but he has no concrete plans yet.

'I'm thinking of so many trips now. I've also got my 50th around the corner so I'd like to do something nice," he told listeners on RTE's The Ryan Tubridy Show on Tuesday.
"I got in my head a nice railway journey somewhere spectacular. Not South Africa, not quite sure if it's Canada, maybe even European would be fine. I don't need to be going completely bonkers so we'll see."
There is much talk among fans about who the guests for Ryan's final Late Late Show will be - with RTE bosses reportedly hoping to land his dream guest on the show.
Tubridy is a hardcore Beatles fan and has made no secret of the fact that he would love to welcome Paul McCartney as a guest on his farewell Late Late Show.
However, Ryan didn't address the rumours that the Beatles legend could be in the line up, saying: "We've got some pretty big names down the tracks in the next seven shows and then 'Arrivederci Roma'.
"There's good stuff happening, I'm looking forward to all of those things."
Speculation continues to swirl over who will replace Tubridy as host of The Late Late Show with Claire Byrne remaining the favourite.
Sarah McInerney, Kathryn Thomas, Jennifer Zamparelli, Tommy Tiernan and others have also been linked with the high-profile job but RTE are keeping tight-lipped on Tubs' replacement for now.
