Ryan Gosling sings ‘Happy Birthday’ to Eva Mendes during rare public appearance together

  • The couple appeared on Thursday, March 5, where Gosling surprised Mendes for her 52nd birthday.
  • Gosling, who was promoting his new movie Project Hail Mary, asked the audience to sing to Mendes, who was backstage.
  • Mendes joined the stage wearing Gosling's blue and white striped Louis Vuitton cardigan, previously seen on him during a Jeopardy! appearance.
  • The celebration concluded with Gosling singing along while New Jersey's North Bergen High School band provided the music, with Mendes thanking him with a kiss on the cheek as confetti rained down.
