Russian heavyweights Shamil Abdurakhimov and Sergei Pavlovich were booed at UFC London as the pair entered the octagon for their fight.
Abdurakhimov and Pavlovich met on the preliminary card of the event and they didn't make it out of the first round as Pavlovich dropped his opponent with a big punch and finished the fight with ground and pound, despite a protest about the stoppage from Abdurakhimov.
There was limited applause for Pavlovich when he was announced as the winner of the contest, with some fans still booing him during his exit from the octagon despite his impressive stoppage win.
In the previous fight, octagon announcer Bruce Buffer didn't announce that light-heavyweight Nikita Krylov was from Ukraine. Also absent from Krylov's graphic on UFC broadcast was his Ukraine flag, with a blank flag displayed instead.
Their negative reception comes after Russia's President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine last month following years of tension between the two countries. Over 3.3 million refugees have fled the country through its western border with the crisis still looming large.
More than 20,000 civilians have been feared dead in Mariupol as tanks have hit the streets of the city, whilst some residents have been left trapped in a bombed theatre.
Countries have responded to the Russian President's actions by freezing the assets of many oligarchs linked with him. In the meantime, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has admitted ongoing negotiations with the country are going well.

The heavyweights weren't the only Russians who received boos from the London crowd as Timur Valiev also got a bad reception for his bantamweight fight with Jack Shore, in which he lost by unanimous decision.
UFC middleweight Paulo Costa was recently branded a "f****** moron" for praising Putin, whilst labelling France and America's Presidents as "weak leaders": "Vladimir Putin is not a weak leader like Biden or Macron," he tweeted.
"He is an ex-military man who was once stabbed in the belly and survived. He is another level of world leader. You may hate it, but it's the truth."
