Russia “has no interest in peace”, Andy Burnham and Volodymyr Zelensky have agreed as the UK seeks to bolster support for Ukraine after Donald Trump suggested Moscow wants a deal to end the war more than Kyiv.

The Prime Minister hosted the Ukrainian president for talks in Downing Street on Wednesday amid what he described as “dark and difficult days” for the war-torn country.
