A 560-year-old castle that hosted Mary Queen of Scots and Bonnie Prince Charlie before his defeat in the Battle of Culloden is on the market for $5.1M (£4m).

Kilravock Castle Estate, which is also referenced in Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander book series, has 13-bedrooms, a banqueting hall and an oubliette or “secret dungeon.”
