Rumer Willis Announces Breakup With Derek Richard Thomas On Instagram

Rumer Willis confirmed on Thursday that she and her longtime boyfriend have broken up. During an Instagram Ask Me Anything (AMA) session, Willis revealed that she is now single and focusing on co-parenting her daughter, Louetta, whom she welcomed in April 2023. The actress expressed gratitude for her daughter, stating that Louetta is the best thing in her life.

Willis and her former boyfriend, a frontman for Vista Kicks, had been romantically linked since at least August of the previous year. The couple confirmed their relationship in November 2022 with affectionate images shared on social media. Thomas had previously paid tribute to Willis on her birthday, expressing joy and ease in their relationship.
