The 2023 Rugby World Cup is intensifying with the pool stages continuing and last eight places up for grabs.
Australia are set to become the tournament’s first major casualty, with defeat to Wales, already in to the quarter-finals, all but confirming their Pool C fate.
Ireland, meanwhile, made a statement of title intent by edging an enthralling affair against South Africa, and England have looked good, too, despite a disastrous build-up to the tournament.
The quarter-finals are set to begin on Saturday 14 October, while the tournament will conclude at the Stade de France in Paris.
