RTE Late Late Show viewers were delighted to see Hollywood icon Jamie Lee Curtis chat to Ryan Tubridy on Friday night's show, ahead of the release of her new film 'Halloween Ends.'
The actress joined Ryan Tubridy live in studio to talk about her new movie 'Halloween Ends', and how she feels about being part of one of the most revered horror franchises in film history. She also talked about acting as the officiant for her daughter’s wedding in May.
Dressed in black and wearing knee-high boots, she came on stage to thunderous applause from the Late Late Show audience. Speaking during the show, Jamie Lee Curtis also told of her great love for Ireland and the Irish people, saying: "The Irish are the nicest people I've ever met."

"From the moment I stepped off the plane, from the baggage handler to the driver, to your people. You are the nicest people on Earth," she added.
The Hollywood star was last on The Late Late Show four years ago in 2018. She spoke about her new movie Halloween Ends, the latest in the slasher franchise, and how the murders have affected fictitious town of Haddonfield, Illinois.
Jamie Lee said: "This one is about the poisoning that, in a way, that level of damage and murder in a town, Haddonfield, a fake American town, what it really has done to the people.
"And it’s poisoned them. So we all think Michael Myers is the murderer, the killer - but the truth is we are all somewhat murderers. We are all capable of inflicting real harm on other people," she added.
Taking to social media, Twitters users praised the star for her down-to-earth approach to life. One Twitter user said: "Jamie Lee Curtis is a legend ! Love her."

Halloween Ends is out in Irish cinemas on October 14.
