RTE Late Late Show viewers have praised the "incredible bravery" of Dublin brothers Mark and David Ryan as they opened up about their experiences at Blackrock College.
The two brothers recently came forward with their harrowing stories of the sexual abuse they suffered at the college in a documentary with RTE Radio 1 when they were teenagers in the 1970s. After the release of the documentary 'Blackrock Boys’, more than 400 victims also came forward.
On Friday night, Mark and David bravely spoke to Ryan Tubridy on The Late Late Show as they recounted the abuse they suffered at Blackrock College as young boys. The two brothers, originally from Blackrock and now living in Tipperary and London respectively, fought back tears as they discussed the abuse that they suffered while attending the school.

Their abusers were from the community of the Holy Ghost Order, which is now known as the Spiritans. At the end of the emotional interview, Ryan Tubridy and the studio audience were clearly moved by Mark and David's courage, and the brothers were given a standing ovation.
The Late Late Show tweeted in response: "That standing ovation continued long after the cameras were turned off. Thank you for your honesty, Mark and David."
Social media viewers were also moved by the men's appearance on the show. One person wrote: "Absolutely heartbreaking to watch. Those men are beyond brave."
Another said: "My Goosebumps have goosebumps, beyond harrowing what those men went through, so brave of them to share there story. thinking of anyone else out there who has suffered such abuse #latelate."
A third person commented: "Incredible bravery. Well done Mark and David for speaking out so courageously and honestly. May you find healing and justice, we stand with you."
