A young woman who was left blind in one eye after a horrific attack will no longer appear on tonight's Late Late Show.
Alanna Quinn Idris was due to speak to Ryan Tubridy on the popular RTE television show after her attacker was jailed for four and a half years yesterday. Alanna was going to talk to Ryan about how her life changed after she was attacked on December 30, 2021, what it was like giving her victim impact statement in court this week and her long road to recovery.
But RTE announced that she will not be appearing on tonight's episode. The rest of the lineup will remain the same including a trio of our Grand Slam Heroes, player of the match Dan Sheehan, Josh van der Flier and Andrew Porter who will chat to Ryan about the days of celebrations that followed Saturday’s historic victory and why the night before the game was one of the most surreal experiences they’ve ever had as a team.

I'm Grand Mam's PJ Kirby and Kevin Twomey will be on the couch to chat about how Paul Mescal begged to be on their show, Irish boys and their undying love for their mammies, and why they are fairly certain Michael Collins is a fan. Also, Laura DeBarra will be back for The Late Late Big Repair Challenge with five passion projects carefully selected and will be unveiled on the show ahead of their beautiful restoration which will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Also appearing on the show is English singer-songwriter Freya Ridings will perform her newest single Weekends and Louth artist David Keenan will sing his viral hit El Paso.
