Royal Navy head Sir Ben Key admitted on Wednesday that it was “very disappointing” that a £3 billion aircraft carrier had broken down at sea.

Divers were seeking to identify the problem with the propeller shaft on the HMS Prince of Wales after it was forced to stop on its way to the US.
