Royal Marine who crashed after three pints of beer called police on himself

A Royal Marine crashed his car after drinking three pints of lager - then phoned the police himself.

Jamie Brown, 25, lost control of his Skoda Fabia on the B803 road near Slamannan, Stirlingshire.

Falkirk Sheriff Court heard he could not get a phone signal where the car went off the road, so walked home and phoned the police.
