Royal Mail postman unable to walk after ‘accidentally eating four hash brownies

A Royal Mail postman has gone viral online when he was left barely able to walk after he accidentally eat four hash brownies whilst on the job.

The unidentified mail worker claimed he didn’t know they contained cannabis when he ate them from a packet labelled ‘Edibles by Pablochocobar’.

The video, posted on social media platform TikTok, does not make clear how the postman came into contact with the illegal goods.

A fellow Royal Mail colleague can be seen assisting the postman by collecting him in a car from his delivery route as he was unable to push his cart.

However, once dropped at the depot he can be seen on camera sitting in an office chair saying ‘I’m not right.’

A colleague is heard remarking that the poor postie had munched his way through two of the brownies, before the chap admits he actually had four, according to Daily Star.

The viral video, taken in Clapham has received over 22,000 likes on TikTok as Londoners found it hilarious that their postman had ended up in such a state.

A third said: “How do you accidentally eat hash brownies? Sounds like the best day of work ever.”

Royal Mail has confirmed that they are aware of the incident and have launched an investigation.

A spokesperson told the Daily Star: “Royal Mail expects the highest standards of behaviour from our people at all times. We are taking this matter very seriously.

“We have commenced an investigation which will determine whether any further action, including disciplinary action, might be taken.

“We are also reminding all staff at the delivery office of the correct procedures for dealing with items with no address for delivery or return.”

The delivery service added that they are unaware of any health and wellbeing issues following the incident.
