Roy Keane has taken aim at Gary Neville over his treatment of Cristiano Ronaldo in a recent video.
The Portugal international recently sat down for an explosive interview with Piers Morgan ahead of the World Cup as he looks to force a move away from the club.
And the two part 90 minute interview ill air on Wednesday and Thursday.
With the 2022/23 season not going how Ronaldo has planned it has seen a number of high profile pundits criticise the forward with Gary Neville among them.
Keane and Neville were shooting a video alongside Micah Richards for Sky Bet where they picked their World Cup winners and were debating how far Portugal would go.
And as they spoke about Portugal, Neville quipped: "Cristiano, your mate Roy.'
To which Roy replied: 'My best mate.'
And Keane joked: "If he's still there. If he was taken off he might have left by now."
And the exchange continued as Gary Neville said: "You have got him on speed dial, haven't you?.
To which Keane replied: "Sorry for defending an ex-teammate. You know I'd defend you Gary if you behave like that."
Ronaldo is currently in Qatar for the World Cup with the tournament kicking off on Sunday.
