Rosie O’Donnell taunts Trump as she returns to TV as guest host of Jimmy Kimmel Live!

  • Comedian Rosie O'Donnell guest-hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday night and she took aim at President Donald Trump in her opening monologue in their latest public clash.
  • O'Donnell addressed her move to Ireland with her 13-year-old child following Trump's second inauguration, stating, “You know, I’ve been living in Ireland for the past two years because of Mango Mussolini. I read that Project 2025 and said, ‘Got to get myself out of here,’ you know?”
  • During the broadcast, an emotional O'Donnell paid tribute to actress Hayden Panettiere, who died on Sunday at age 36 and had previously appeared on O'Donnell's talk show as a child actor.
  • “She was so brave talking about mental health before people were really ready to hear about it, and very sad. My love to her family and friends, and she will be missed. Godspeed, Hayden,” O'Donnell said.
  • Viewers praised O'Donnell's guest-hosting performance, which aired amidst Trump's continued calls for television networks to take action against late-night hosts who criticize him.
