Giovanni Pernice was criticised by some of his fans after sharing a photo of himself reuniting with his Strictly Come Dancing co-star Rose Ayling-Ellis. The former winners of the BBC One dance competition met up as they watched judge and stage partner Anton Du Beke in his latest pantomime role.
In the photo, the pair smiled for the camera as they cosied up after the show, as reported by Manchester Evening News. Giovanni typed alongside the post: "Fantastic evening watching my partner in crime @mrantondubeke in Jack and the Beanstalk at @churchill_bromley."
Fans were quick to celebrate Giovanni and Anton's friendship but some on social media questioned whether Giovanni had been similarly supportive of former dance partner Rose Ayling-Ellis, who has made her West End debut in the retelling of Shakespeare’s As You Like It.
