Rory McIlroy teed it up alongside Denis O'Brien at the Scottish Open Pro-Am on Wednesday afternoon as he gears up for the links swing.
The Northern Ireland man is in Scotland competing at the event and was paired alongside the Irish billionaire.
O'Brien is an avid golfer and was all smiles while playing with the four-time major winner at the Renaissance Club.
McIlroy is hoping to strike the right chord this week as he gears up for next week's Open Championship and plays alongside Justin Thomas and Xander Schauffele for the first two rounds and will then travel down south to Liverpool for the final major of the year.
McIlroy won the Open in Hoylake back in 2014 and will be hoping for a repeat this time around. The Down man has been in fine form this year, finishing second at the US Open and a top 10 finish at the PGA Championship.
