Rory McIlroy improved his chances of winning the RBC Canadian Open for the third time in a row with an ideal second round score of 67 in Ontario.
At Oakdale Golf and Country Club, McIlroy improved to six under par after making five birdies and is trailing China's Carl Yuan by three shots at the halfway point.
The tournament was won by the world number three by seven shots in 2019, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it was postponed in 2020 and 2021. Last year at St. George's, McIlroy carded a closing 62 to win.
