On Saturday, viewers of Love Island Unseen Bit were treated to an interesting conversation about oat milk, and Ron Hall's major milk blunder left them baffled. To help clarify the situation, Oatly has now responded to the discussion.
The dairy alternative milk company have addressed the Love Island scene where Lana Jankins explained to Ron that oat milk does not come from the same place as dairy milk. Oatly said: “We saw there was a bit of confusion in the Love Island villa around the difference between oat drinks and cow’s milk. We wanted to set the record straight before this gets to Casa Amor.
"After 25 years of making the stuff, we can categorically confirm that oat drinks come from oats, not from cows. And oats cannot be milked. Trust us, we’ve tried."
