The Rolling Stones are set to go on a European tour this year to celebrate their 60th anniversary.
In celebration of sixty years together, the legendary rockers announced a string of summer 2022 dates which will take them across Europe, starting in Madrid and visiting the likes of Munich, Liverpool, Amsterdam, London, Vienna and Paris.
The run of 14 shows will include stops at Liverpool's Anfield Stadium and London's Hyde Park, with the tour finishing in Sweden. It will be the Stones' first-ever stadium gig at Anfield and the first time playing in the city of Liverpool in more than 50 years.
Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood will also perform two nights at London's Hyde Park as part of the massive American Express presents BST Hyde Park festival.
The Rolling Stones have not played in their native UK since the death of their beloved drummer Charlie Watts last summer, replacement Steve Jordan will be on hand in his stead.
The band have also released a new, signature tongue logo to celebrate their anniversary and 'SXITY' tour. British designer Mark Norton has designed the logo to go along with the tour.
Organisers of the show are promising a "massive stage, cutting edge lighting and state of the art video design." This tour comes following the Stones' highest-grossing US 'No Filter' stadium tour.
Fans will be treated to a set list packed full of classics such as ‘Gimme Shelter’, ‘Paint It Black’, ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’, ‘Tumbling Dice’, ‘(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction’, ‘Start Me Up’ and many more.
