Rohit Shetty confirms 'Golmaal 5' with Ajay Devgn; says he will continue with the franchise till he is making films

Rohit Shetty, who is all set to make his big OTT debut with ‘Indian Police Force’, recently spilled the beans on the next instalment of his popular ‘Golmaal Franchise’.

In an interview with a news portal, Rohit confirmed that ‘Golmaal’ will happen. It might be right after ‘Singham’ or maybe another year after that. According to the filmmaker, he enjoys that space and will keep making ‘Golmaal’ till he is making films.

Elaborating further, Rohit added that he is happy sticking to his brand of cinema with cop universe films, ‘Golmaal’ and now, ‘Cirkus’. He has not changed the style of filmmaking. While the industry is in chaos, his team and he is the calmest at present because they are continuing to make the cinema they believe in – larger than life, commercial and multi-genre, the director told Pinkvilla.

Rohit even shared that two years of the pandemic had shifted everything. He couldn’t start ‘Golmaal’ because there was a big backlog of work for all of them. However, now everything is fine and he hopes to start working on ‘Golmaal’ soon.

‘The Indian Police Force’ stars Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi in lead roles.
