Rohit Sharma's jaw-dropping reaction on DRS call burns the internet - Watch

After India's video referral (Decision Review System) overruled the on-field umpire's not-out decision to an LBW appeal by pacer Akash Deep on day one of the second Test against Bangladesh in Kanpur, the home team captain Rohit Sharma's reaction of disbelief went viral on the internet.

Bowling with his tail up after ending Zakir Hasan's 24-ball struggle with a duck against his name, Akash hit Shadman Islam's pads with a delivery that angled in from round the wicket and straightened. The right-arm pacer went up in appeal instantly, but the umpire shook his head in denial.

While Rohit didn't look convinced about taking a review, Akash was confident and urged his skipper to ask for it. Rohit eventually agreed and his jaw dropped in surprise when all the parameters ruled in favour of the bowler, and Shadman (24) took the long walk back.

Bounce was never an issue on the Green Park Stadium track; and the ball kept straight enough, despite being delivered from an angle, to find the leg stump.

The Indian players were all smiles as they gathered around Akash, congratulating him not only for the wicket but also his confidence and judgement to go for the video referral.

Earlier, after a delayed start due to wet outfield, India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first.

India lead the two-match series 1-0, having beaten the visitors by 280 runs in Chennai.
