Sir Rod Stewart joked about his wife having a crush on Prince Charles ahead of his Jubilee performance.
The Do Ya Think I'm Sexy? singer is gearing up to perform on stage for the Jubilee Platinum at the Palace party on Saturday.
Rod sat down for an interview with BBC Breakfast where he discussed Queen Elizabeth II as well as his wife Penny Lancaster's 'thing' for the Prince.
Speaking to Naga Munchetty from his London home, the 77-year-old said: "She [Her Majesty] has been so much a part of my life she's almost like a sister, she has always been in the background."
The conversation then steered towards Prince Charles, with the singer telling Naga the Prince of Wales might be the first of the royals to get up and dance during his performance.
"I love him, and my wife absolutely adores him," Sir Rod explained, with Naga asking what he meant by 'adores'.
He joked: "I think they've got a thing going on!"
Naga then asked the singer what his wife's reaction will be, to which he said she will 'die of embarrassment'.
"I wish I was dead right now," he laughed before getting out of his chair. "Alright, I'm going home."
The concert is set to take place on Saturday, June 4 and over 22,000 people will watch the show at Buckingham Palace live, while it will also be broadcast on BBC One.
The Jubilee concert will feature three stages and 3D projections across the face of the palace.
Rod is joining Queen plus Adam Lambert, Alicia Keys, Andrea Bocelli and the UK's Eurovision star Sam Ryder for the concert.
