Houston Rockets center Alperen Şengün suffered a leg injury late in Sunday’s tilt against the Sacramento Kings, and was taken off the court in a wheelchair.
Şengün landed awkwardly on his left leg during the fourth quarter of the game after attempting to contest Domantas Sabonis on a fast break layup following a Houston turnover. After his unnatural landing, Şengün was on the ground in considerable pain until the training staff arrived. After a few minutes, the 21-year-old was helped into a wheelchair and rolled into the locker room with his hands over his face.
