Rochelle Humes has made a candid admission about her children getting older as she prepares to celebrate her eldest daughter's birthday. The singer-turned-TV presenter is a proud and doting mum to nine-year-old Alaia-Mai, Valentina, five, and two-year-old son Blake.
The former Saturdays star, who shared her adorable three children with her former JLS star-turned-DJ husband Marvin Humes, regularly shares updates into her family's world on social media and has now opened up more about the feeling of watching her children growing up so fast.
"I know I’m responsible enough for kids but I’m still like, ‘My God, how am I a grown-up?" Rochelle, 33, told OK! Magazine as she revealed how Alaia had started asking her about skincare.
"She [Alaia] was small yesterday and now she’s asking me what moisturiser she can put on her face – which is also quite fun, doing some girlie stuff together. She was like, ‘For my birthday, I think I just want skincare,’ and I was like, ‘What?!’ At 10, I didn’t know about things like that. My mum showed me how to wash my face with water and that was about it!"
Rochelle’s mini-me daughters may be set to follow in their mother’s footsteps, with the former popstar revealing that both girls have a shown an interest in performing, too. "On a weekend, the girls are at dancing, singing and drama classes – you name it," she says. "And Blake has now started [toddler football class] Little Kickers. I don’t really know what he does there, but it’s his thing. He doesn’t do the dancing yet because he’s not old enough, but he’d love to do anything that his sisters are doing."
Rochelle continues, "I feel like I’ve bought every single uniform for every single afterschool activity. In the summer, Alaia was like, ‘Mummy, I want to be a tennis player!’ so we got her one for Christmas and now she doesn’t like it. They like to give everything a go."
Last year, Rochelle and Marvin's children witnessed their mum and dad celebrate their 10 years of marriage by doing it all over again. The loved-up couple pulled out all the stops as they renewed their wedding vows last month in a stunning location in Lake Como, Italy.
Announcing the news on Instagram, Marvin shared a picture of his wife’s hand resting on his, with their wedding rings in clear view. Alongside the image, the singer and presenter who found fame on ITV singing competition The X Factor, wrote: “Yes we did it all again!!! Ten down forever to go." Rochelle posted the same image with the caption: “Oops we did it again.. Ten down forever to go…” with a variety of emojis.
Over the summer, Rochelle shared a string of images from their Italian adventure, writing: "What a magical week…leaving a piece of my heart in Como," with the first image showing her stood on a veranda overlooking a glistening blue lake with her one-year-old son in her arms.
The This Morning star looked stunning in a black and white cowl neck dress, which featured a super high split up the thigh. Another photo showed Rochelle, 33, tucking into a ice cream while standing out on the street in a floral yellow dress. Rochelle and Marvin's daughters also made an appearance after witnessing their mum and dad celebrate their 10 years of marriage by doing it all over again.
This Morning presenter Rochelle couldn't help but share a sneaky snap of her JLS star and DJ husband who was snapped just in a pair of Calvin Klein boxers as he poked his head out of the window to take in the breathtaking view. Those who joined them in Italy were among those taking to the comment section to gush over the special week they had. Dancer and former S Club Juniors star Aaron Renfree said: "We love love the most beaut week."
