During the 2022 NBA Playoffs, Boston Celtics star big man Robert Williams III played through swelling and pain to stay on the court early in the recovery process after surgery on a partially torn meniscus and clearly needed rest for the recovery process to complete.
Now, in the postseason, Timelord is reportedly getting exactly that — much-needed time to recuperate his surgically-repaired knee according to Heavy’s Sean Deveney. Per Deveney, “Williams has been feeling good” and ” has experienced no setbacks or further knee issues” with a plan to rest for six weeks before heading to the Sanford Power training facility in Irvine, California to prepare for the 2022-23 Celtics season.
Timelord’s health will be critical to Boston in any run at the 2023 Finals, so word of his recovery going well is not a minor benchmark in that broader goal for Williams and his team.
