Robert Rinder rushed to hospital after Good Morning Britain appearance

Robert Rinder has shared how he was rushed to hospital after appearing on Good Morning Britain.

The TV judge is a regular host on the daytime ITV programme, as he steps in for other presenters, and he was back at the helm alongside Ranvir Singh on Monday (February 13).

But just hours later Robert, 44, was rushed to hospital. He told fans on Twitter that "life can change in a moment" as he shared an update along with a number of photos.

He said: "Started the day holding politicians to account on ⁦ @GMB ⁩ & interviewing Lulu & Richie Sambora… Finished it having a prolapsed disc in my back repaired & healed.. Life can change in a moment.. Hold on to joy wherever you find it (thanks brilliant medical team)."

After his many followers saw him pictured in a hospital bed wearing a gown, they rushed to offer support. Sam said: "Best wishes for a speedy recovery. We need your voice of reason on our televisions, especially where politicians from all sides are concerned."

Nick said: "Hope ya ok. Can't thank nurses or NHS enough for great service", while Jax said: "I'm so glad you're okay, Rob!" Bernie said: "Look after yourself Robert".
