During the recent court proceedings, Prosecutor Susan Hoffinger referenced an email exchange between Robert Costello and Michael Cohen dated June 13, 2018. In the email, Costello mentioned that his friend would be meeting with his client and offered to convey any messages Cohen wanted to share.

Costello clarified that his intention in the email was to encourage Cohen to express any complaints he had so that Costello could bring them to Rudy Giuliani for discussion and resolution. According to Costello, Cohen had several issues he wanted to address.
