Robbie Savage claims Celtic dominance only breaks if one thing happens as Harry Kane decision comes into Ange exit call

Robbie Savage knows he could be a bonafide Celtic legend - but wonders if the Premier League will prove too much pulling power for Ange Postecoglou to resist.

All the Australian boss has his eyes on is a Treble after lifting the Premiership trophy again on Saturday with a 5-0 win over Aberdeen. Beating Inverness CT in the Scottish Cup showpiece next week would seal a Treble and fifth out of six available in his time for Postecoglou, and now Tottenham are believed to want him as their next boss.

Pundit Savage discussed the news on 5Live's 606 with Celtic legend Chris Sutton and knows how good a job the Parkhead gaffer has done so far, and could continue to by keeping Rangers at arm's length. However, he's not sure if such an opportunity would come for him again. Savage explained: "I watched Celtic score five goals again and the gap for me while Ange Postecoglou is manager and the way they are playing, I can't see Rangers catching them. But if he leaves, the gap can be closed. So if you are Ange Postecoglou, Chris, would you leave to go to Spurs?

"Knowing you are a hero in one part of Glasgow, a chance to win their eighth treble, I think Rangers have won seven so that would be a record. Would you go to Spurs or think 'I will wait for another job.'

"But then again, Arsenal won't come up for a while, Man United, Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea if they get Pochettino, what job is next? Newcastle looks boxed off with Eddie Howe. For me, you would have to go to Spurs."

Sutton knows the EPL may be a frontier that Postecoglou could want a go at in future, but there are key White Hart Lane problems to consider. He said: "Spurs is a big club in terms of size, nowhere near as big as Celtic.

"What do we know about Ange Postecoglou? We know he is ambitious and I am sure one day he will want a crack at the Premier League.

"The other thing with Spurs, he is a smart guy, he's his own man, self-sufficient, a good relationship the hierarchy. The issue with Spurs over the years is manager relationships with Daniel Levy (Spurs chief) not always working.

"That could be an issue but there is a lot of things to consider. Is Harry Kane going to stay, how strong are they going to be? Ange Postecoglou has had two really strong seasons at Celtic and should be sought after."
