Rob Page backed Brennan Johnson to light up the Premier League with Nottingham Forest following his stunning impact for Wales against Belgium.
The 21-year-old shone after replacing Gareth Bale in the 72nd minute of the Nations League contest in Cardiff. And following Youri Tielemans' opener, Johnson struck his first international goal late on to earn the Red Dragons a point against Roberto Martinez's men. (You can read the match report here.)
It comes following a remarkable season for the youngster who helped Forest gain promotion into the top-flight while also securing World Cup qualification with his country having collected the 2021/22 Championship Young Player of the Season award.

"He came on as sub last week [against Ukraine] and hit the post with his first touch I think," said Page. "He's a wonderful talent. I'm looking forward to watching him in the Premier League next season and watching him grow with us because every time he comes on he impresses, shows his worth so he deserved his goal. He's got a lot more to come as well.
"We see it day in day out. We had a chat with him yesterday. Alan Knill showed him his clips back and where we think he can improve. He's shown it again tonight."
Wales thought they had gone ahead against the Red Devils inside five minute as Ethan Ampadu rifled beyond Koen Casteels, only for the video assistant referee to rule out the effort for offside against Joe Rodon. But the officials ruled in their favour late on as Johnson slotted home to send the Red Wall into raptures, beating the offside trap by the narrowest of margins.
However, Belgium boss Roberto Martinez was less than impressed with the decision to award the goal. "Today I'm very confused," said the Spaniard. "I can't see how the goal stands. He looks totally offside. I think we've gone a little bit mad in that respect. When I look at the images, it doesn't look right. I think we need an explanation from the VAR committee."

Page used all five substitutes during the game, one of which saw Aaron Ramsey replace Joe Allen in the first-half after the midfielder suffered what looked to be a hamstring injury. Connor Roberts and Ben Davies were also withdrawn as players felt the impact of playing for a fourth time in just 11 days.
"We'll assess him [Allen] in the morning," said Page. "At the minute we think it's a hamstring injury. It's just caught up with him, it's been relentless, the fixtures. Ben Davies was forced on us as well, and Connor, they've run themselves into the ground for us. We'll have a look in the morning and count the bodies we've got."
Wales round off the international break against Netherlands in Rotterdam on Tuesday night. Kick-off is at 7:45pm.
