A number of roads were closed near Liverpool airport after a smash between two cars.
Merseyside Police were called to Dunlop Road in Speke at around 12.30pm on Friday, March 10 following reports of a crash between two vehicles. Once officers arrived at the scene they found a black Kia and a grey VW Polo had crashed on the road.
The VW had major damage to the front and pictures taken by The ECHO show multiple airbags inflated. Merseyside Police confirmed they have received no reports of injuries following the crash.

At the time of the incident Liverpool Airport warned passengers to allow plenty of time to travel due to Dunlop Road, All Saints Road and Speke Hall Avenue being closed. The roads reopened once all vehicles were recovered from the scene.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "At around 12.30pm today (Friday 10 March) we received a report of a collision involving a black Kia and a grey VW Polo on Dunlop Road in Liverpool.
"At present no injuries have been reported to police. Dunlop Road, All Saints Road and Speke Hall Avenue are currently closed whilst emergency services are at the scene and motorists are advised to avoid the area."
