Road closed in both directions after man on moped hit by car

Merseyside Police Volkswagen

A road was closed in both directions after a Volkswagen Golf collided with a moped.

Merseyside Police received reports of a collision on Linacre Road in Litherland at around 12.30pm on Friday, April 14. The driver of the car stopped at the scene and the moped rider was taken to hospital after sustaining a shoulder injury.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and to help police with enquiries. Officers were at the scene while the road was closed and has now reopened.
