Emergency services temporarily closed a North Liverpool road following a three vehicle smash.
Merseyside Police attended Oakfield Road, Anfield, shortly after midnight today, Saturday, April 22 following reports of a three vehicle crash. The crash involved a black BMW, white Ford Fiesta and a white Vauxhall Vivaro van.
Images sent to the ECHO showed officers from several police vehicles in attendance, as well as at least one North West Ambulance Service vehicle. The conditions of those involved in the crash are currently unknown.

The road was covered in debris following the incident. The bonnet of the black BMW had buckled following the impact of the crash, while the rear and right side of the Vauxhall van was also severely damaged.
A ground floor window of a property on Oakfield Road next to where the vehicles were pictured was also broken. It hasn't been confirmed if it is linked to the crash.
The road was temporarily closed while removal lorries removed the three vehicles. The nature of the crash is currently unknown.
A Merseyside Police force incident manager confirmed to the ECHO the road near Anfield Stadium is currently open. Liverpool FC play Nottingham Forest at Anfield at 3pm today.
The ECHO has approached Merseyside Police for further comment.
