Train strikes: RMT declares 24-hour walkout on July 27 after rejecting ‘paltry’ Network Rail offer

The country will face further rail strikes this summer after talks between unions and Network Rail broke down on Wednesday.

The RMT said its members will walk out for 24 hours on July 27 after rejecting a "paltry" pay offer from the train provider.
