A popular high-street clothing brand is believed to be bringing its new fashion concept store to Northern Ireland.
An application has been submitted to Belfast City Council to transform 7-9 Donegall Place in the heart of the city centre into one retail unit "prior to fit-out works by incoming tenant".
It is believed this tenant will be River Island, opening their latest 'River Studios' location.

According to the brand, River Studios is "the River Island you know (and love), rebooted."
A description reads: "A fresh new concept and a new name, designed to make shopping with us even more amazing.
"From in-house stylists and curated collections to digital fitting rooms and a brand-new look, here’s your exclusive glimpse into the River Studios experience."
Plans for the shell works of the unit have been submitted by Andrew McKelevy of Oxford Street Capital Ltd earlier this month and the site inspection has been completed.
It intends to merge the former Disney Store that has remained vacant since it closed in 2021 and the adjacent Clarks shoe store into one unit.
The proposal description reads: "Works to ground and first floors to combine two existing retail units into one retail unit".
A separate planning proposal for "one shop sign" has also been submitted for the same address by Robert Mills at River Island, with images of the proposed storefront showing the River Studios branding.
River Island currently has 14 stores across Northern Ireland, including one already on Donegall Place slightly up from the proposed site.
