Rio Ferdinand has advised England manager Gareth Southgate to select Chelsea's Reece James at right-back ahead of Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Both Alexander-Arnold and James are amongst the best right-back players in the world, but former Manchester United defender Ferdinand thinks the Chelsea man has the edge when it comes to England selection.
Southgate has tried on a couple of occasions to play Alexander-Arnold in the midfield as a way of finding a space for him in the team, but those experiments are yet to come off.
