A totally wireless camera makes for an easier setup - (Alistair Charlton / The Independent)

The Outdoor Camera Plus is Ring’s latest security camera and its first with 2K video resolution. It is a part of the company’s outdoor range and slots in-between the basic Outdoor Camera and pricier Outdoor Camera Pro. At £99.99, the new Plus is £20 more than the base model and £60 cheaper than the Pro.

Battery and plug-in versions of the Plus are the same price, while Ring also sells a battery-powered version with a solar panel for £160. As with many other Ring products, the Outdoor Camera Plus is available in white or black.
