Rihanna may have released her last album in 2016 but the pop superstar has still been training her vocal cords – with her own music
Singer-songwriter and beauty influencer CC Clarke has worked with Rihanna's brand Fenty Beauty after she was named the most online beauty influencer back in 2019.
Having racked up over 320,000 subscribers on YouTube, CC overtook the likes of Dr Victoria Magrath and Tanya Burr who also share beauty content on the platform.
But away from her YouTube career, the red-headed beauty has carved a name for herself as a singer and recently released her latest track On Read.
While many dream of meeting their idols, CC has been fortunate enough to party with Rihanna and revealed what went down on the night, including an unexpected performance.
"That was the most insane thing, every time I talk about it, it still doesn't seem like real life," CC gushed.
She went on to say: "People didn't realise how intimate it was, it was just ten of us and Rihanna, people had flown into London from all over the world that her team had chosen and it blew my mind for us to meet her for the first time.
"That was the perfect example of what my aspirations are – colliding beauty and music and being an artist, I guess that was her nod to say thank you to the.e beauty community for accepting and being part of her brand, she didn't have to do that for us because she's literally the Queen.
"We played beer pong, we danced, we got very drunk and did karaoke as well, there were different levels to this townhouse, it wasn't like a meet and greet where we just had to like shake and take a picture and go home, we had the whole evening with her."
CC continued: "We took shots and she said 'right, lets go to the next room' and we started playing beer pong and dancing.
"We were drinking The 1942, a lot of shots later and we were back on karaoke upstairs, singing the Spice Girls and something that shocked me, she likes to sing her own songs, she was singing Wild Thoughts!"
The songstress revealed On Read isn't about a specific person but there are "a lot of people that have probably realised why I've left them on read," but admits it's "liberating" to put out her message of empowerment.
