In a recent episode of Chicks in the Office, actor Rick Hoffman opened up about the much-talked-about viral moment during Meghan Markle's wedding to Prince Harry in 2018. Hoffman, best known for his role in Suits, explained the reason behind his 'awful face' caught on camera that day. As it turns out, it all had to do with a rather unpleasant odor.
Hoffman revealed that he has a heightened sensitivity to smells and, during the wedding, he started to detect something foul in the air. In an attempt to alleviate the smell, he covered his face, mentioning that he uses a coconut vanilla moisturizer which he hoped would help counteract the unpleasant scent. Trying to divert attention from his goofy expression, he spoke about his antics with fellow Suits star Sarah Rafferty, who reprimanded him to 'cut it out.'
