Rich Eisen savagely trolled Ohio State fans at the NFL’s Hall of Fame dinner and Michigan fans loved it

Most people, by now, have probably forgotten that Michigan absolutely dusted Ohio State last November in their 42-27 win.

That was bad. Really bad. That final score isn’t indicative of how far about the two sides really were. Especially considering how close (and heated!) it was at halftime. What a way for Jim Harbaugh to get his first win against OSU.

That’s something Ohio State fans almost certainly want to forget. And they have no problem with anyone else forgetting about it, too.

Michigan fans — and Rich Eisen, specifically — absolutely will not let them, though. Eisen spent part of his opening speech at the NFL’s Hall of Fame dinner savagely trolling Ohio State fans to the point that you could actually hear the audience groaning.

Obviously, the dinner is in Canton. So there were lots of Buckeyes fans in the building. He didn’t care, though. He piled on.

“For your safety and for the safety off all those in attendance, please locate the nearest exit in case of emergency. And if you need help locating that nearest exit, just think of yourself as a member of the Ohio State Buckeyes in the middle of the 4th quarter last November in Michigan Stadium. That’s the way you look for an exit.”

Ohio State fans’ collective response was basically this:

Sheesh. That certainly didn’t go over well with most of the audience. But it definitely did with Michigan fans. They loved it.
