Revolution's £9 primer that's 'like a dupe' of £49 Bobbi Brown version

Shoppers are loving one of Revolution’s latest products, the Super Base Vitamin Base Primer.

Makeup Revolution is a budget UK makeup brand that's managed to win cult status among beauty lovers for its trend-led offerings and dupes of high-end brands. One of its latest products has received many gushing five star reviews.

Shoppers are even comparing the Revolution primer to Bobbi Brown's Vitamin Enriched Face Base. Primer is a cream that is applied before makeup to improve coverage and to help makeup last longer.

The Super Base Vitamin Base Primer product description read: “Prep, prime and moisturise in one step with Revolution’s Super Base Vitamin Base Primer. Combining the benefits of primer with nourishing vitamins, the formula helps to smooth the appearance of skin before makeup application.

“A blend of vitamins B, C and E, shea butter and hyaluronic acid delivers a surge of nourishing moisture, working to keep skin feeling hydrated throughout the day. Applying with a rich, creamy texture, the primer can be used alone as a skincare step or to create a visibly plump, dewy base for foundation.”

The primer has received a generous rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 183,587 reviews on Trustpilot. You can shop the primer online for £9.99 at LookFantastic.

One happy shopper said: “This base is like a dupe for Bobbi brown. Works just as well I would say. I use it for everyday use and saving my Bobbi Brown for special occasions given the price.” While a second added: “A real dupe to the BB Vitamin base.”

A third shopper commented: “Make up glides on beautifully after applying this”. While another said: “makeup sits lovely on top of this which I've had trouble in the past with some bases.”
