A California jury has found Bill Cosby guilty of sexual assault in a civil case, awarding Donna Motsinger over $19 million in damages.

Donna Motsinger, now 84, filed her lawsuit in 2023. She claimed that in 1972, while working as a restaurant server in Sausalito, California, she was drugged and raped by Cosby. According to her account, Cosby, then a famous comedian and actor, invited her into his limousine after a show, offering her a glass of wine.
