The quick charging capability was also convenient - a 15-minute fast charge will give you four hours of playback time.
The buds have touch controls that actually work. Having tested several ANC headphones this has become a real bugbear with me and I think mechanical controls are far more reliable, but the EVOs are intuitive, easy to use and far more reliable than some of their rivals.
Another premium touch is the app, which allows you to create your individual sound profile that is tailored to your taste by taking a sound test. You can also customise the controls.
