Retrofête is all about glitz and glamour. So naturally the brand's Fall 2024 runway show was held at the pinnacle of New York City opulence: The Plaza. Attendees filled the ballroom sipping on martinis as they anxiously awaited for the lights to dim. Red mood lighting took over the space as silhouettes were illuminated on the walls.
Reinterpreting modern workwear, the first model hit the runway wearing a checkered trench coat. "Fall 2024 explores the bounds of sexuality, reflecting upon my own self discovery," elaborates Creative Director and Co-Founder Ohad Seroya. This sentiment is evident throughout the collection, which features plunging necklines, daring open backs and micro shorts a la the no-pants trend. Meanwhile, the "Alpha Women" rock oversize fur coats, pinstripe suits and sheer-paneled evening gowns.
