Residents of Motherwell are most likely to be cheating on their partners

Illicit Encounters Lanarkshire

People in Motherwell are more likely to cheat on their partner than residents of almost any other town in Britain, according to an “index of infidelity”.

Figures from Illicit Encounters - an online dating site for married men and women - have revealed that 1421 people in the town are members.

That works out as 4.45 per cent of the population, or around one in 22 - which is the fifth highest proportion of people using the cheating site in the UK.
