It’s been more than a year since Resident Evil Village came out, but Capcom isn’t done with it yet.
During the Capcom Showcase on Monday, we finally got to see the upcoming Resident Evil Village DLC in action. Surprisingly, Capcom led with the single-player update that was promised ages ago. The scenario, called Shadow of Rose, is all about Rosemary, the daughter of main game protagonist Ethan Winters. It’s coming out on Oct. 28, 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Watch the Resident Evil Village DLC trailer for yourself below. Low and behold, it’s startlingly creepy. Your mileage may vary in that regard, but maybe keep the lights on for this just to be safe.
Developing…
Resident Evil is in a beautiful spot these days. Between the new-generation re-releases, remakes of classics, and now this DLC – fans are eating well. Now please, Capcom, get the PS1 originals into some fancy collect. I am begging.
