Capcom's planned DLCs for the hit video game "Resident Evil Requiem" have been a hot topic among fans. The good news is one of them has been released.
The DLC, called "Leon Must Die Forever," is free, but there is a catch if you're hoping to check out the new DLC.
'Leon Must Die Forever' DLC
For those hoping for additional story content with the new DLC, that's not what you'll be getting. "Leon Must Die Forever" is actually a mini game.
According to VICE, the player steps into the shoes of Leon Kennedy and must survive 20 levels in order to make it to a boss battle featuring Victor Gideon.
In each level, Leon will be given randomized weapons to use in order to survive.
While it may not be the additional story content many have been hoping for, this new mini game sounds exciting, nonetheless. There is a catch, however.
Players must first complete the main game before they can access "Leon Must Die Forever." So, if you haven't gotten around to completing the game, now's a very good time to do so.
Other 'Resident Evil Requiem' Updates
Along with the release of the mini-game DLC, Capcom also release additional updates for "Resident Evil Requiem." These include a fix for an issue that causes the game to become unplayable under certain circumstances.
Capcom likewise included updates that are specific to Steam and Epic Games, including fixes for several issues that will ensure a better, smoother gaming experience.
The update also includes adaptive triggers, vibration functions, and a motion sensor function for the DualSense wireless controller.
